HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?
Weddings are amazing, but they’re busy. There’s a lot happening, and as a couple it’s very easy to spend part of the day wondering whether everyone else is having a good time.Speaking from experience, having entertainment your guests can enjoy gives you a bit of that headspace back. While your guests are watching, chatting and enjoying the performance, you can go off for photos, spend a few quiet minutes together or simply be more present in the day without that little worry in the back of your mind. That was a huge part of why aerial hoop worked so well at my own wedding, and it’s one of the main reasons I wanted to offer it to other couples.
Honestly, it’s pretty simple. Choose whether you’d like a solo or duo performance, tell us your date, venue and timings, and we’ll take care of the rest.We bring the hoop, freestanding rig, equipment and everything needed to perform. We set it all up, put on the show and take everything away again afterwards.
I'm based in Somerset but spin my way around the UK for weddings and events. If your venue is further afield, just send over the location when you enquire and we can talk through the details.
Beautiful, exciting and sometimes pretty daring aerial hoop routines designed to give your guests something brilliant to watch.Performances are made up of choreographed routines throughout your booking, with short breaks in between.
Performances usually run for around 45 to 60 minutes.During that time, I perform a series of choreographed routines lasting roughly 3 to 5 minutes each, with short breaks between performances. Aerial hoop is incredibly physical, so those little breaks help keep every routine looking its best.
Pricing depends on a few things, including whether you’d like a solo or duo performance, how long you’d like us there and where your venue is.Send me your date, location and a rough idea of what you’re looking for and I can put together a package that fits your day.I know first-hand how quickly wedding costs can add up, so I keep my pricing as fair and competitive as I can and offer options to suit different budgets.
Absolutely. You can book me as a solo performer or book a duo performance with myself and my aerial partner.A duo gives you even more variety, including opportunities for doubles performances and more continuous entertainment while each performer takes the occasional break.Basically, double the performers, double the wow, double the fun.
Nope.I bring a professional freestanding aerial rig and all of the equipment needed for the performance, so your venue doesn’t need to have existing aerial rigging or anything installed in the ceiling. We bring it, build it and take it away again.
We recommend allowing a minimum clear space of approximately 4m x 4m for the aerial rig and performance area.If you’re unsure whether your venue has enough room, just get in touch. We can chat through the space and work out whether it’s suitable.
Yes. Performances can take place indoors or outdoors as long as there’s enough suitable space for the rig.Outdoor performances are brilliant when the weather plays nicely. If the British weather has other ideas, having an indoor backup space is always a good plan.
Not at all.I can bring my own sound system and music if needed, or the performance can work alongside the music and sound system already being used at your venue. The routines are designed to work naturally in an event environment, so there’s no need to completely stop everything else happening around them.
Absolutely.I have a collection of performance costumes in different colours and styles, from simple and neutral through to bright, bold and colourful. If you have a particular colour palette or feel for the day, let us know when you book and we’ll do our best to find something that fits beautifully.
No. I am fully insured for aerial performances and uses my own professional aerial equipment. That’s one less thing for you to think about.I perform using professional aerial equipment suitable for her performances and brings everything needed for the setup. If your venue needs information about the equipment or insurance before the day, we can provide the relevant details.
I've been practising and performing aerial hoop for over five years, including showcases, competitions and performances across the UK.I've performed both solo and as part of a duo, competed at instructor level and has also spent the last three years teaching aerial hoop to students of all abilities. So although the performance might look terrifying from the ground, I'm very much at home up there.
Weddings are a huge part of what Lou in the Hoop is all about, but definitely not.I can also perform at corporate events, festivals, private parties, family events, community events, launches and other celebrations across the UK.If you’ve got an event and think aerial hoop would be brilliant there, get in touch.
Absolutely. Aerial hoop makes brilliant entertainment for guests of all ages. It's visual, tasteful, exciting and easy to enjoy whether you’re six or sixty, which is one of the reasons it works so well at weddings and family events.
Just send us an enquiry with your date, venue and a rough idea of what you’re looking for. We’ll check availability, talk through whether you’d like a solo or duo performance and make sure the setup works for your venue. From there, we’ll get everything booked in and start planning the fun bit.
